Well first of all I would like to say hello to everyone here at OSO.com!![smilie=042.gif] As you can tell by the username I am with the cutting edge race team out of Lake of the Ozarks. My name is Brent and I am in charge of communications for cutting edge, we have heard so much about this site, and are ready to take part in some of the activities they go on here. I have read some of the forums and it seems like a great place to talk boats, and share race stories. Let get to the good stuff, news about the shoot out.
Today Doctor Mike and Ron Duggan (Capt Rons) met with the Water Patrol Captain and came to an agreement which will help with some of the tickets that are given to racers days before the shoot-out. If you are Pre-Registered and paid by the Wednesday before the shoot-out, you will not be given noise violation tickets Thursday-Sunday. This will allow for boats to participate in poker runs, and allow them to test and work on the boats a few days before the race. We hope this helps some people have a better time, and allows them to not be so stressed when they see water patrol.
