1000 Islands Fall Fun/Get Together Run

Hey guys I have met a good amount of new people this year and number of people have mentioned the 1000 islands powerboat club and how much fun they had with it, and how much they miss the get togethers. I mentioned I would help get this going again to a number of you even though I was never part of this club. Some of the stories I have heard it sounds like there was a TON of fun, so I figured we (NysPowerBoatInc) would give it a shot. If you guys like the idea and want to put something together shoot out some dates and ideas and lets rock the islands for a day of fun, and a chance to meet new people and go to new places. Lets HEAR your ideas.

Sounds like a great idea...Keep in mind Lake George in early Oct. Lots of people planning on that.

Early to mid September if you want a good local showing, sounds like some may pull the plug early this year.

Is this going to be a balls to the wall type of run for bigger boats? I'd like to come but last fun run I ran in most boats were 80+ and I was alone 95% of the day (not too much fun). I run 60 wide open, about 45 cruise, so if anyone else with slower boats was thinking of coming it would be much more fun (for the slower guys). Thanks!

Anyword on this before I put the mothballs in it for the winter, I'll run with ya, mine only does 65ish and likes to cruise around 50. Swamp run was fun.....but needed a little more run time than 1 on the hour meter
