glad to see you come up, you will love this run and the river. there is a hotel in Chester that is only 10/15 mins to the ramp, we all head over in the morning, much better parking for bigger rigs, better ramp. glad to see your bringin the cajun AJ, Mark coming as well?

hotel in chester...http://homewoodsuites1.hilton.com/en...ginia/index.do

this is the ramp and parking areas... http://www.hopewellva.gov/data/publish/marina.shtml

Friday night we use the Courtyard Mariott. It's right by I-95 and Rt. 10 exit. and has plenty of parking for the rigs. The parking lot circles all the way around the hotel for easy access in and out. 804-414-1010

I just checked, they are $115 today. They probally hold a higher price due to holding the rooms to a few weeks before the event.

I sure am sorry I will miss this years run....run it for 6 years. Sons getting married the same time. Sounds like some impressive hardware added to the already impressive event. Active, and Excursion, you run a great event, just a suggestion, you might think about moving the first group start beyond the powerlines. I know...... Reggie jumped the start last year. Charging off into that first corner with 25 boats was already exciting....It could get very interesting if the boats are not strung out before that series of turns with 4 or 5 more cats. Great event...sorry we wont be able to run it.
