Yep! I've already told Bill to sign me up for taking kids for rides Friday afternoon.

Not sure what the dealeo is going to be. Neither is Bill. I offered to help out if needed. They may only let PPC members do the actual rides. Who knows. Probably more info coming after they get back from Miami.

Yeah, the DVD would be nice right about now. I'm bored to tears....cept for constant trips for fire wood and kerosene in an attempt to keep my electric heat pumps from running non freakin' stop.

We should have all the details finalized by the Miami Boat show, so the big announcement will come around that time frame (or after I get back from the show).

BTW: The DVD is coming along - the final editing is being done now, we expect that soon. I am sure you'll be pleased with the effort that went into it.
Any MORE INFO on either one ??????????????

Default Puttin' on the Wish, Norfolk, VA proceeds benefiting ACS-childrens scholarship fund

The Platinum Powerboat Club is excited to be part of the Powerboating for a Cure Poker Run, Norfolk, VA event August 6 and 7th! The Puttin' on the Wish charity rides will be on Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm with the Live auction taking place on Friday night, which benefits the American Cancer Society childrens local scholarship fund! This will be the the 3rd of 7 Puttin' on the Wish events on the calendar for 2010! Our goal is to share over 1,000 powerboat rides and raise over $100,000.00 in 2010. I have been told again and again that this event will raise the bar of all Poker Runs! and I can't wait! For Poker Runners who want a supreme and convenient location, this is the 1! I hope to see everyone there! Joy
