Welcome to the first installment of Liquid Jungle Newsletter. We will be periodically sending out this newsletter to keep participants, sponsors and fans informed on the latest happening of the Liquid Jungle.


• New for 2010

o Harmony Liffrig
 The 2010 Liquid Jungle will be benefiting the family of Harmony Liffrig. We recently had the opportunity to meet Harmony and we are excited for everyone else to meet this resilient and beautiful little girl!

o Four Horsemen Poker Run on Lake Winnebago

And here's some new info that has been added in the last 24 hours!! Friday night: Skydivers. Saturday night: Polynesian dancers. Mercury racing will be here with their "Poker Run Road Show". Shipyard Marine will be displaying some of their new "toys". Shogren Marine will be bringing some Nor-Tech and Sunsation boats. Best of all? Register by June 18th and your registration fee is $350 for boat, driver and co-pilot and $135 for each additional participant!

In 2003 the Liquid Jungle was started purely for the fun of it. At no time has this been anything besides a fun charity event. The fun is gone now because of some recent complaints and threats made by people who are not in any way involved with the event. We strongly feel that we have done nothing wrong to merit this harassment. However it is not worth our time and effort as well as putting our livelily hoods in financial jeopardy to fight these people. Therefore we have opted to cancel the event.

As for August 14th… at no time have any complaints been made against the boaters, it will be a great day to go boating and we should not let these people ruin a great day on the water.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience!

This is by no means an attempt to host an unofficial Liquid Jungle and it was never my intention to try too. I'm doing this because so many people still want to come.

The owners of Parkside are going to still put on the car show and all the boats are still very welcome to come. I have a lot of correspondences from people who are still coming or want to come. So I though I would let people know that there will still be people coming August 14th. I won’t be coordinating anything official but I’m sure that there will be plenty of impromptu eating, drinking and fun going on.
