Nice pictures! That Outerlimits was simply outstanding. Is that why you posted two of the exact same links to it? (And I thought I couldn't count!)

Thanks
Between Laster and Too Stroked I've a lot of material to reply to. But als I need to be serious for the 1st post. But later...
A great deal of thanks needs to go out to people who helped make this one of the finest runs we've ever had (and we've now had 20 of them!). Due to the sudden but brief thunder and the rainbow incident I was remiss at the run with my acknowledgements and do apologize.
The ROPA Board of Dave Spanton, Todd Sawyer, Aretha Sawyer and Ted Hosmer did a fantastic job before, during and after the run and we wouldn't have had it without them. Ken Bruielly was a big help with the local area and Marty Pinto, John Scott and Kham Hosmer were a big help during the run with tickets.
He doesn't have a computer so he won't read this but Roger Fisher was huge in making this successful. He attends meetings, provides input and suggestions, arranged the fantastic band of recording artist Josie Waverly and then, to top it off, when he won the grand prize of the run (No fix folks, but he justly deserved it) he returned it back to the club so there would be future Battleship Runs. I was speachless!
If you see any of these people (especially Roger) please give them your thanks as well.
On to next years Run on Sat. July 16, 2011, our 21st annual! Mark your calenders and reserve your rooms at the Showboat now!

I'd kind of hinted at Roger's classy move in my post the day after the event, but wanted to let Bill (as our President) break the official news. For those of you that don't know Roger, he's flat out one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and it's this kind of stuff that makes ROPA (and Roger) so special. The list of people that would have done something like this is very, very short and we're proud to have him in our club.
BTW: Nice sig line Bill! Did you happen to notice that it's an outboard?

Gaffrig speedo's slow you down
When I took my Checkmate speedometer out of my Checkmate and replaced it with a Gaffrig I lost 2-3mph top end! Or I could use some of Laster's excuses (plus I tripped on a rock, the sun was in my eyes and I was retaining water- Oh wait, there was no chicks in the boat!).

The official photos are now posted! Go to www.TORQUEPHOTOGRAPHIC.COM to view and click on seneca battleship run 2010. There are some great shots: boats showing off with huge roosters, shooting right down the tunnel of the cat "Flash" and you've already seen Webster's Progression trying to jump over the moon , etc. Apologies Larry. I forgot if your boat's name is Columbia or Atlantis? That would also explain the stratospheric GPS numbers you always seem to have. Aren't you due back in Cape Canaveral soon?
