Ian you will be alright we only run about 40-45 mph. Usually about one tank down and one tank up. These last two weekends have been a great way to start ending the season.

I average about 1.7 mpg cruising so 4 hours at 45 mph is 180 miles or 105 gallons of fuel. Down and back 210 gallons so around $750 to have reserves.

Its 109 miles from evansville. I think we spent around $400-450 last year in fuel. IMO its well worth it, one of the best boating weekends of the summer. And I don't know anyone who makes it in 4hrs. I'd say more like 8hrs with all the stopping and partying we do

Kyboy... we passed you Monday morning, the three boats that went by a Baja, a Hustler and a Pantera, you were being towed. Is that what was wrong with your boat.

Is the Pantera you mentioned the white one with eyes. We ran back to state dock just before the storm with that boat and it sure looked good in that rough water.

No I had the yellow one. I saw that white one at the dock, never got a chance to talk to them though.
