UUmmmm.... How did you miss the drunken strawberries at the BatBoat last year? I think that it was after the dinner, but my memories are "a little" fuzzy....
Gizmo - I want to see what R'Addiction comes up with in terms of the Mother Ship concept. That might be the hot ticket. Anyway - We're happy to share.

I just saw the Blue Angels are in Lynchburg that same weekend. If anyones got connections you should see if they will do a lake flyover. It can't be more than a few minutes out of their way. That would be a hell of a way to start a Poker Run.

OK - I've reserved the houseboat (a.k.a. MotherShip) for Friday through Sunday with optional extra days. I got the only one with twins, to help in towing the little boat(s) around with us. The cool part is that we pick it up right across the street from Mangos, which will make Friday night much simpler. We'll run the entire package down to Mariner's Landing Friday evening or Saturday morning and anchor out.
Unless Will can find us a dock spot.
After all, I thought that I heard someone say something about a dock party????

Does someone mind giving me a quick rundown on the events, and where I should stay? I'm going to do the run, but have never been to SML. Where and when does everyone put in? Where do you stay? And is it within driving distance of the ramp? Where do we park rigs? I just don't wanna go up and be any more of an idiot than necessary.

The lowdowwn is, the run starts and end at Mariner's Landing. There are two ramps there. I have put in at one and taken out at the other. I didn't have any trouble at either. There is a "Social" type party Friday afternoon and a kick ass Party Friday evening/night at Mango's. Mango's is up the lake a ways. Last year there was a shuttle bus that took us from mariner's to mango's and back. Poker Run is Saturday and another party Saturday evening. BIg Fun........ Even in the rain!
The locals, Will, Marshall or Rick can fill you in on anything I missed.
