[QUOTE=Gangkopff;3472736]The planned route is leaving from Eagle Creek heading west to Oak Orchard then heading East to Rochester for our lunch stop. We will more time to raft off after lunch either in front of Margies or in the bay if the lake is too rough. It is really more of a day run. You would have to find your own place to stay unless you can sleep on your boat. They do have slips available fee of charge and a boat launch.

Sounds like Rochester Offshore has somehow "scheduled" another perfect day for boating. Unfortunately, I'll be working on everyone elses boats at the marina. Have a great - and safe - time of it!

Cant Wait!!! A Bunch Of Us Are Going To Launch At Oak Orchard And Cruise Over To Register First Thing In The Morning. Weather Looks Promising And Lake Should Be Calm. I Think There Are More Than 20 Boats From Wny Heading Out That Way Should Be A Great Turn Out!!!!

Just as a FYI, Margies has had a "closed to boaters" sign in front of it the past several weeks, along with a rope across there beach just at the waters edge. Dont know what the issue is there this season, just passing along what i have seen.

Depending on lake conditions we could raft off at Durand Beach, Oklahoma beach (on the east side of the I bay outlet), Devils Cove or just south of Devils cove. We'll decide at the lunch stop and we'll be on VHF channel 72 if anyone wants to hook up. Thanks for the info.

Bill,

I honestly don't know how Rochester Offshore does it - the weather that is. The odds of finding a day in late August with Lake Ontario having anything less than threes is pretty low. Yesterday was in the low 80's with virtually perfect water. As I look out the window this morning, Lake Ontario is nasty looking 3-4's and it's expected to get much worse. What is it that you guys put inthe collection plate anyway?

I can't wait to see pics!

Tom
