My bad-dazz Boston Whaler is ready to run again! Ya'll just try to keep up.
Plenty of open seating, but I start at Smithfield Station.

Sorry to hear the wet t-shirt contest is a no go, or is it that it just can't be planned??? How about it happening impromptu?
I hate to say it the dock party at tidewater yacht was the best part of the event, it was the only thing that was really bringing me back after I paid last year for a boat of 5 and all we got out of it was a so so lunch and the banquet dinner, no t-shirts for any of the people onboard, no pictures of the boat from the helicopter, a dvd that only played for about a minute and a half. I was also very surprised that everything was BYOB even though such a big deal was made about getting licensees and having guards at the dock to prevent non participants entrance. Maybe most poker runs are that way I was just under the impression there was a little more provided for the participants for the money.

You should have gotten T-shirts and there were problems with some of the DVD's. There are new officers running it this year, inquire with them to see if they have anything leftover for you.
The lunch has been so-so and is being looked at for a change of menu. The dinner has always been pretty damn good. I suppose the helicopter missed you based on your comments. After leaving Smithfield keep an eye out for it....some people sit and wait near the Elizabeth river just to get Heli footage.
As for the dock party, Tidewater asked the club to keep it below XXX so a planned wet T-shirt/no clothes contest is not planned. Remember, the contest started from acts that "just happened" in years past so who knows what might "just happen" this year
As for price, check prices for runs like what Florida Powerboat Club puts on and compare what your getting.....$375 won't seem so bad! and remember, this is a charity event so the Shriners get every dime after expenses.
