In case anyone missed this announcement at Smith Mountain Lake poker run:
For the 2012 poker run season:
Any Captain who signs up and attends:
2012 Smith Mountain Lake Tom Maynard Poker Run in May
Jammin' on the James Poker Run in July 13 / 14
Powerboating for a Cure in Norfolk, July 27 / 28
Will be eligble to draw for the "Virginia Poker Run King". 1 hand 7 cards winner take all $1500.00 CASH and a Trophy. Drawing will be held at the Powerboating for a Cure run July 30.

For those that are in the planning stages of their poker run schedule...YOU NEED TO TRY THIS RUN.....the venue is really cool....where you park your boats, the party, banquet are all together.....after the run on saturday when everyone is back at the dock (lying about how fast they went) they bring out hors d'ouvres...the food is great and all the liqour at the party is top shelf......the course can have varying water conditons so if you have a boat that is great in flat water or one that is a rough rider you have your time to shine...the organizers are very serious about everyone having a good time and look for feedback on how to make the event better each year....all this for the Susan G Komen breast cancer charity (and I know all you guys love breasts)......its in a perfect location geographically so you northern gents can come down and give us southern boys a run for our money.....everyone have a great boating season!

Got the application printed and on my desk just haven't printed my ins stuff yet.

Wish I could have made SML but was out of town the five weekends before and it was just too much.
