It would be nice if I had a boat . . .
You could always ride in your old boat. I know the guy who owns it pretty well. Want me to put in a good word for you?

I appreciate the offer. I suppose I COULD offer to drive your boat so you can, ahem, be free to "entertain" in the back seat.

Any truth to the rumor that a major sponsor has bellied up to the bar, er, dock?

I hear from reliable sources that Seneca Lake (618 feet maximum depth) is actually quite comfortably warm this year. Can't wait for the annual dive into the crystal clear waters right after the first stop. (And the second stop, and the ...)

We have a guy who comes from Wilbraham, MA each year. I'm not sure what his total miles are, but you might be in some close competition. You guys might have to settle it with water pistols at 20 paces.

I guess I will have to take the long way there this year. I know I am something over 300 but I think a little short of 350. Might need a way to document this. Or we COULD do the water pistols thing.

Yes. Tempstar heating and cooling products has stepped up again this year as title sponsor. The owner of the company is even planning on attending with his family to ride in Roger Fisher's boat "Black Velvet."

Default Fast boats on Seneca

Although I live in the buffalo area, My family has had a cottage on Seneca lake at long point for 40 + years. There are 3 times of the year that are a must, pirates run , 4th of july and the battle ship run.
I have never done the runs due to the fact there is no big power sitting in my hoist . Glad to see the folks from WNY enjoy Seneca as much as I do. I will be waiting for the roar next week following you in awe as always especially that red and yellow blur Hot to Go.
Have a safe trip and a safe run everyone.
