Second Annual 1000 Islands Summer Splash, June 7-8, 2013
Register by May 24, 2013 and save $100!
Performance Boat Club Events presents, in sponsorship with Team United, the Town of Gananoque, and the Thousand Island Accommodation Partners, the Second Annual 2013 Thousand Islands Summer Splash Charity Poker Run.
Come Join us June 7-8, in Gananoque for the Performance Boat Club Events season opener, Check out some of the most exotic and extreme performance boats in North America! There will be two classes of boats: under 55mph and over 55mph class, so there's something for everyone!
The run is approximately 100 miles of breathtaking views starting in the Gananoque Marina with a parade of power, and running to Clayton NY, Boldt Castle (Heart Island), Alexandria Bay NY, Brockville, Prescott and Rockport, returning to Gananoque City Marina. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have fun while donating to worthwhile cause!
Our charity this year is the Gananoque Lions Club who provide valuable assistance to those in need in the local community via the food bank, homeless shelters, hospitals, seniors centres, providing health programs and youth volunteer programs, to name a few and the Thousand Islands Association
After an exhilarating day on the water, run participants and the general public are invited to the “Auction and Awards Dinner” being held at the local Clarion Inn (Blink Bonnie) at 7:00pm. Tickets may be purchased for $50.00 per plate (includes tax and gratuities).
Early bird registration entry fee on or before May 24, is $375.00 ($475.00 after May 24) and includes event participation for driver and navigator, drivers kit, 2 nights mooring, event shirt, Poker Runners Cocktail reception, breakfast, lunch and Auction Awards dinner. Extra crew fees are $100 per person. Please contact (705)533-2717 to pre-register or visit our website for online registration and information at www.performanceboatclub.ca. Minimum boat length to participate in the event is 24' Valid proof of insurance with $2M liability required for all participants.

FRIDAY 2 pm - Boats begin to arrive and launch and Gan City Marina
3-6 pm - Registration and drivers check in
7-9 pm - Poker Runners Cocktail reception sponsored by the Lions club at the Gananoque Clarion Inn
SATURDAY
8:30 am - Registration and drivers check-in, Lion's Shore Breakfast on the water
10:00 am - Mandatory Drivers meeting and safety briefing
10:30 am - Boats depart Gan city marina for parade of power along the waterfront and on to checkpoint #1 Clayton NY
11:00 am - Depart Clayton NY for checkpoint #2 Boldt Castle (Heart island), Alexandria Bay, NY
11:30 am - Depart Boldt Castle for checkpoint #3 (lunch stop) O'Heaphy's Irish Pub, Prescott
12:15 am - Arrive at Prescott for lunch at O'Heaphy's Irish Pub
1:45 pm - Depart Prescott with Parade of Power along waterfront and onto checkpoint #4 Rockport
2:30 pm - Depart Rockport to checkpoint #5 Gananoque City Marina
3:00 pm - Arrive Gananoque City Marina (run is officially over)
7:00 pm - Gala dinner and drivers draw cards at the Gananoque Clarion Inn
8:30 pm - Auction and awards ceremony
