It is further up on the James on the Chicohominy River http://www.riversrest.com/ You can run up the Chicohominy River in no time I guess it just depends how far you want to go. Here are a few pics that may help you.....someone else may have some input on the distance as well. I run my jetboat on the Chicohominy River a lot and it doesn't take long to run from the bridge up to Riversrest and that is doing 40 or so. I would guess it would take you about 35 - 40 minutes from Cobham bay but someone else may have some input.
