The only time I have been scared in my boat was at the mouth of the East Pass in Destin. Luckily I got er turned around without a huge swell flipping us over! It was definitely an moment!

I think everyone has that moment their first time in Destin. The first year I went, we dropped the boat in and I headed straight for the pass. Was rolling through it at about 60 and the first roller caught me completely by surprise. Launched the boat, and spilled drinks everywhere but got turned around before I really screwed up.

I am looking for someone with an extra bedroom at the Emerald Grande. I have a nice hotel room Wed-Mon but would prefer to be at EG.

The condos are all 2-3 bedrooms so not really practical to book alone. If anyone has a room I am clean and I pay. I prefer Wed-Mon but can do Thurs-sun/mon as well.
