How rough is the lake? We are bringing a 28 Nordic. I would like to also bring a 22 DCB. Is the lake too rough during the week for a 22? Neither of us are running the poker run. We are staying near Bald Ridge Marina.

The lake is generally pretty calm during the week. However, poker run week will be a little busy starting Thursday am.

The lake should be fairly smooth even Thursday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday will be fairly rough. In general, the big cruisers are out on Saturday and Sunday mostly.
The poker run will bring out some heavy traffic on the lake over the weekend. Baldridge will be very rough over the weekend. I'd bring them both. Some wake board boats even do the poker run

I usually go to the Lake Cumberland poker run to watch. I've seen 25' boats out there running and it didn't look like fun to me. That is the reason I don't want to run this one.

If I can run the 22 Wednesday to Friday it would be worth dragging it all the way down there. My 22 is low profile. My wife and I have taken big waves in the face (and killed cell phones lol) at Cumberland on big weekends. Trying to avoid that if possible.

I'm already here, got here Saturday. Huge difference between weekdays and weekends. Today was super quiet and smooth on the lake. The main channel here at the south end is very wide open so all the boat wakes mix up and create the washing machine effect. I imagine this weekend will be pretty rough just based on the shear number of boats.
