we do classes for whoever shows up. I.E. two or more of a type of a boat, and we will count it, 2 pontoons, 2 IO cats, 2 OB cats etc. Come early and sign up. Start about 9am

Great! Not sure who handles the facebook page but the page is lacking the basic details. It says 15th AND 16th? Dates, times, ramps info, etc. would be helpful.

There has been an accident. Thoughts and prayers to all involved. Not too many details at this point, but appears to be a Skater that went over.

Yeah it was Garth Tagge and Jim Melley in their 36-foot Skater. Thoughts and prayers are with their family.

Very sad to report that Jim and Garth passed away from their injuries, a very sad day for our event...the water conditions were very good, nobody did anything wrong, and they were pulled from the water quickly and had CPR done on the spot. I stood and talked to them for well over 30 mins before they went to the boat, great guys who we had met at last years event here, which they won. I am really at a loss for words for their families and the boating community families as well. I would like to say that the media has become the worst enemy of the country and their not getting the facts strait before reporting is out of hand..anymore if they say its sunny outside I'd look ! there are a lot of finger pointing right now, most be ones who have no clue..normal, but the bottom line is, it was no one's fault, the course was good, as were water conditions at the time, they did not "loose" control(my way of looking at it) it was a blow over that has been happening with these recently..period, Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim & Garth's family, they were loved by many..
