Default Sarasota Offshore Grand Prix 2016

Seeing how our boat has been in Sarasota since New Years, partly to have some work done and partly some New Years fun, we decided to enter the grand prix next month. Work has been crazy busy all spring which has shut done our usual OPA antics. We registered for Pro Am 1 to run in the 90 to 95 area depending on who shows up. If there are any p3 guys lookin to have some fun come on out. Sarasota is steeped with tradition and a heck of a great place to race. Brian

I've been told sealed 525 only this year for svl. All others P4. I'm gonna yank the vortec after marathon and drop in a 700sci and that should take care of that.

Check out the website, "Sarasota Powerboat Gran Prix"..... Above, click 'race' / then schedule. A, PDF file showing times.

All off-shore racing on Sunday starting at 10:00

I met most of the teams today,,,,,,, The meet -n- greet, then went to the pits. A fun time.
I forgot to take a photo of the Victory Team.... ( I talked too much with them )..... They said, this sort of racing in Europe has fizzled, so they will stick around in the states racing.
