Re: How do you like your 33
Guys, I also refrained from posting on the other thread. But in 4 years of running my Powerplay I can tell you that I have never once run the boat on plane or at speed with the drives tucked and the tabs all the way down. Like INDY said, they are very responsive to trim input.
Sure, to get on plane, the drives need tp be tucked but as soon as it planes you need to get them out opf the water.

The boat would plow badly and bow stear.

Re: How do you like your 33
How many people are aware that the one of the people responsible for the high build quality of PowerPlay came from Apache? Hull/Decks were trued, vinylester resins were used intsead of GP resins, lamination schedules were changed, kevlar introduced into high stress areas, vacuum bagging techniques introduced, and so on. This is a very high quality true offshore boat, more so than most out there. Some of the idiotic remarks made on the Marco Island thread just infuritate me. A little bit of research by these "experts" would stop some of this conjecture.

Mark, Sorry my comment was not directed at you, it was another post on the Marco Island thread that went on and on like he was some kind of pro yet knew nothing about the brand of boat he was talking about.
