I do too, but reserecting them to start out needs to be somewhat affordable to get them out in the public again. Then they need to be tweaked, also need to be as good or better with some of the new hardware out there than when Dan owned the co. I see alot of potential for this model, it is a very large 38 and with swim platform a 40'6" boat. Does anyone know the ACTUAL headroom at the tallest point in one of these. Thanks Jeff

Default 38 PP Specs

Jeff, Headroom is 6'4" in the main area as you step into the cabin, going forward to the first bulkhead. The engine compartment was tooled to allow a short engine stagger, but it really is'nt neccessary.

Thank You ED... Do you also know if the first bulkhead is around the countertop or door to the head. Also do you know if there is appr. 6' headroom in the head as well, and possibly 5' in the sitting area. That is excellent for a 38' boat plus swim platform. Thanks Again. Jeff

Default 38' Cabin Headroom

The first transverse bulkhead is at the front of the U-shaped lounge area, which is quite a ways forward of the head & companionway door entrance. Both the bathroom(head) wall enclosure on your starboard side, and the tall closet/galley countertop structure on your port side, are tooled as one piece with the entire cabin liner. The top of these DivinyCell cored wall enclosures are bonded to the deck, both inside & out, with 1708 Biax material...giving deck support in those areas. This allows plenty of headroom in the entire main salon area. There is a step up into the head(due to the stringer thats just below it, that we refused to compromise the height of), that lessens the overall interior height to approximately 5'10". Overall, its a nice cabin for a boat in its class.

I actually think these are awesome models, I even inquired about one last week to see appr. how much since my 4300 just sold. Still waiting to get the second call back on what they could actually do. Im ordering another, actually my 3rd 4300 Nortech this morning. Jeff

Ed, thank you by the way for all the info, Jeff
