Default 25' Powerplay with single O/B - any built?

Curious on if any 25 powerplays were built with only a single outboard as opposed to twins and if so what kind performance can be expected - speeds, handling, etc.

Haha nope, the current 25 is staying i/o, I'm not that crazy LOL I just know of an outboard hull minus power & I think rigging. Just curious if this boat is decent with a single say 150-225 O/B or if twins are "necessary"

I would think you would need 300+ to be decent. Seeing as it is a foot longer, and a foot wider than my 24, and 250+ runs it 60 on a good day, I would go with no less than 250. Not sure about the 8' beam boats, but the 24 x 7's actually handle better with a single.

There is a 25 CC with a single. I'll try to find performance #'s. I believe it has OMC power.

Just found it on S&F. Center Console, so sportdeck should be slightly faster.
55-56 250 saltwater
58-60 250xs

Ahhhh, sure why wouldn't you need another boat haha.

I'd say w/ a 300 that could be a pretty affordable, reliable cool ride for someone.

Agree with DK. Mid to high 50's with a 250. 60+ with a 300.
