Default 1998 33' Power Play in Hot Springs, AR

Anyone familiar with this boat? Have not seen it before. Cost was $17k in the original listing. Inflation is hitting fast!

Talked to the guy a couple of times and the story seemed to be a moving target. If interested ask specific questions, many.

he realized he had (after the twenty phone calls he got the first day) priced it too cheap and when the buyer backed out at 17g's he raised the price... still a good buy for a fresh water boat that's in great shape... I wanted it at 17 w/ a trailer

That begs the question... why did the buyer back out at 17g's?

17 for a boat with drives on a trailer was a good deal and I offered to send money on the spot. Then it suddenly didn't include drives then it did include drives but no trailer, then It was I would but someone else offered me 25. Then it shows up 2 days later on PB Listings for 25 without drives and trailer. Who in there right mind would pay 25 for fiberglass and interior. There's a nice one out there with fresh 572's on a new Myco for 40, perhaps a little less.

Help me out here... but do used Power Plays seem to have more questionable issues/ethics/history than other brands? It's getting to feel that way. Not based on the boats themselves, but the previous owners. Thoughts?

And I'm certainly not bagging on every owner. Don't get me wrong. Just seems like there might be more bad apples in this bunch. Perhaps it's because I don't follow the other brands as much, either.

Maybe he talked to the guy with the rotting hulk of a Cigarette on Craigslist that wanted crazy money for a junk boat and realized he was selling it too cheap!
