I am going to run out to Clinton to see if they have any 2 stroke oil - want to go measure the walkway?
I'll call in a bit.

Hills and I had a great time also. Its nice to finally meet Jim P.'s wife, and to see people I haven't since August. So, where are we going to congregate in January?

Re: 29 Enticer Owners
I owned a 1994 290 for 7 years. Best boat I ever owned. It was reliable and worked great for the family for over nights etc. I wish I still owned it.
We had our boat decked out, 454 Mag MPI's, inverter, microwave, refirgerator, etc. The boat worked great. The only problem we had was the alternators on the engines went bad after 3 hours. Other than that, the boat was great.
I think the newer 290's are quite a bit cheaper than the boat we bought. We were looking at a Formula when we bought our first PQ, a 270. Since 1997, I think the boats have become much cheaper in fit and finish and quality of equipment. Faria gaugues are an example. Our boat had blue line VDO gauges. Not the best, but higher level than the Faria.
Overall the boat is great. It handled the twin 454's with no problem, but that was as much as that hull can really handle. It would run in the mid 60's with that power, and that worked great for us.
