props, spinning in or out???
Has anyone out there done any testing with props spinning in or out? Im told that if there spinning in thats faster with poor handling at slow speeds (docking), spinning out is a bit slower but way better at the dock. My 38 spins in now and she is a bear at the dock, but I dont want to give up any speed
And if I do this how do you do it? If I switch props Im assuming I need to put her in reverse to go forward, right Then if I like it, do you switch sides with the drives or what?

Stepped boat? If so hull was designed to have bravo 1 props spinning in to achieve best bow lift. Switch props and just remember reverse is forward if you wanna try it. I tried it on my 99 I had.

PQ 380,
Mine are spinning in on my 300 Revenge. I tested some labbed props late last season and during the testing we turned them out. Lost about 1 to 1 1/2 mph. Had a great rooster tail though. Macklin is right, the trannies are backward.

Just what do you know
Kidding Mary still misses you!
I have also tried this lost speed and threw a huge tail! The only positive out of it was that I looked good docking.
One suggestion around the docks that will help is to have the drives all the way down and keep the tabs down half way the boat will track a lot straighter

What Mackin said - try it and let us know what the outcome is. Mine spun out, I wanted to try them spinning in but never got around to it. I would like to hear from others how it impacts getting around at the docks. Do you basically go back to docking like you did with a single engine boat?

As long as your better 1/2 is w/ you you'll look cool docking.
I'm bored and feel like causing trouble.

So is the additional stern lift from rotating in pushing the bow down? Hopefully you can compensate with trim.
