Shame..was a good looking boat back then. Caught up in the marketing push for steps so many companies went through.

Was that a single step hull? How long after they scrapped it did the Revenge come out? Were the issues with the hull to do with handling I am guessing?
All questions.

It was a single step hull.
It was a handful to drive but it was fast. We tested only with 502's and it ran 83 mph as you see it in the photo above.
The 300 was the first boat we stepped and the last to bring to market - which was about 4 years later.
I left the company before the Revenge ever came out.
The photo boat was turned into our plug for retesting the hull - so it had numerous changes to it and it was eventually stripped of everything and parked out back behind PQ. Then in 2001 or 2002 Jack Moll decided to sell the boat to someone - so it is out there somewhere.
And yes - quite few 22 Raizors were sold over the years.

Marc so what your saying is PQ sold the mold of an unstable boat to someone else? That surprises me. I would have assumed that mold would have been cut up and scrapped.
On another note being involved with PQ in the past. Any word on the new owner? I heard the other day the deal is still in the works.
