Default 7" or 11" tips?

I want to replace my Corsa mufflers with angle cut tips from Rex Marine but can't decide between the 7" or 11" tips.

Just be careful about the bolt pattern. I had purchased a new set of 7" last year and when I went to install them the holes were off. I decided against drilling new holes and re-sold them.

I don't recall where I bought them from. I know my 23 Conquest I changed out and I did buy them from Rex and they worked fine. But it had standard non-muffuler tips on it to start with.

The Corsa tips use a std 3 bolt pattern. There were once 3 -340 Vypers here, and we replaced the Corsa tips on all 3. (12 tips in all) They all matched pretty well - as long as the factory guy was having a good day and drilled them correctly.

Hey BillR, did you guys use the straight cut tips and put the external flappers back on? I was going to buy the angle cut ones at first but I'm concerned about water reversion with the tips being so close to the waterline. Also were they from Eddie Marine or CP? Thanks for any input!

Bill went with angle tips on his. Not sure about Vyper340. I took the non-muffled tips (with flappers) that came off Bill's boat and sold my muffled tips. Then gave the money to Bill.

I like having the flappers for added protection. The only time you can see them is when the boat is out of the water anyway.

Hey Bill,
Could you PM me the phone number for the guy with these tips? I was thinking more of the straight cut ones , but if you used angled ones without any problems, I might give them a try. Thanks again!
