Default Water Temp gauge on Enticer

Just curious what you guys are reading on your temp gauges while running. I'm at 180, seem a little high?

I run 180 on mine when I am on it, slightly below when I am cruising and it bumps to 190ish when I come off plane and then cools off back to just below 180 on my gauges.

Both motors are the same temp. One warm sup slightly faster than the other but once they are up to temp they are dead even

I have 502Mags MPI

Going by my factory Faria gauges I am just under the 175 degree mark.I was told to use the electric gauges more for comparison/watching for changes than counting on them for a hard number.

You are fine at 180. None of these gauges are very accurate.

I run consistently at 165...and our lake temp tends to be warm due to powerplant cooling.

The 502 has a 176 degree thermostat so 180 is close considering the gauge accuracy. If mine shows 190 its time for a impeller.

Another thing to keep in mind is faulty thermostates.I have had them stick open where the engine would run to cold.
