if it is anything like a 2000 280, then it is extremely difficult, I almost cried it sucked so bad. you are working in a very small space, the worst part is trying to line up the gasket and the 5 tiny screws that thread into the tank. did I mention that it sucked?

If it is like my 280 it is easy. Just remove the wood panal on the Starboard side of the engine and you can sit there and access the sender without too much trouble.
