Default 1993 290 enticer

Does anybody know if PQ put 502efi's in the 93 290 enticer?
I am in the process of buying this boat and the owner said the boat was built for one of the VP's @ PQ and it has 502efi's in it. Is there a way I can research who had this boat first?

I had a 93 with 502s. The boat was GREAT. That is the only power package I would look for if you want to go fast without having to keep it full throttle. You can cruise all day at 55-60 and not drain the fuel tank super fast.

22p 3 blade dont think is a merc prop.

you should do pretty good with a set of 25 pitch Mirage Plus spinning out ,that should put you in the 70s

I ran 23 mirage 3 blades. Used the same prop without ever having them worked for 10 years. I never used gps on the boat. Speedo went to 75 and it would bury it without having it trimmed out all the way. Dont ask how fast that really was, but I think it was an honest 74-75 mph hour boat. If i remember correct, 3500 rpm would be at or over 60. The boat would get on plane super easy, never a cavitation. Max rpm would be about 5100. If the one you are looking at will only hit 60, I would hope you are hitting the rev limiters at 3/4 throttle because there should be a lot more to go. Hopefully it is only a prop issue and nothing mechanical.

I've got a 91 with 502 carbs and I am running 23 Mirage props and on GPS I am seeing 70-72 at WOT. I have never tried any other size props.
