Top speed 78-80 gps
Elevation...that's funny ZERO (New Orleans)
RPM 5400-5500,pretty busy at that speed in a 280,can't always check.
3600-3700 is around 53-54 mph
My rev limit is set at 5800,I probably could use a smaller prop, let rev higher and get more mph but I'm not really into top speed all that much. I enjoy the "mid range pull" and the cruise speed.Hope this helps. Bob

Hey Bob, I think you told us this before, do you have a drive spacer? If so the size. I run a B1 28 and still trying to fiqure if I can help out my cruise speed and mid range pull.

I had a 1" spacer when I bought the PQ.The lean to port was extreme as it started to lean at 45mph.I removed the spacer and that corrected the problem. However it will still lean at 65+ but not all the time. It depends on the wind and water conditions.

Well... I think my slip problem is because prop is to high. I would hate to create more lean though. Another possibility is a 5 blade but I would bet that would create more lean. Do you have the spacer you would like to sell?
Why did you remove the spacer?

sure,I'll sell it. I removed it because the boat didn't need it.It comes out the hole like a 21 footer,no blow out, runs flat with less lean to port. The first owner thought it needed bow lift and thought the spacer would help. I like it without . Bob

I thought your boat had a different X dim then mine because you have a blue motor. Let me know if you have a price in mind for the spacer. I am still concerned of the leaning but last night I decided to tinker with the boat. I have the option with the microwave and counter top with cabinet. I decided to take out the microwave since it has never been and never will be used. I would rather have extra storage. That did not weigh that much, but the cabinet above it weighs a ton. There is an extra 150lbs of stuff on the left side. I think I may build and upholster a singe shelf in its place. I am sure it is not the cause of the lean but I am sure it didnt help.
