Quick... what you guys think about this 2002 PQ Legend 26 SX???
I'm in the market for a boat as my previous thread stated, originally looked at Baja's but nothing was coming up that interested me. Then a friend found this one on ebay just a few days ago...

Too good to be true?
How's the 6.2L in that thing? Can it even get up to 50mph? To me, a boat like this should be at least capable of going around 70mph... its almost like getting a Corvette with a V6 option...
Thanks for the input.

Theer is no replacement for displacement!!
Nice boat for the money though!!
Cheap enough to go from point A to B looking good.
Carry all the beer and no one will beat you!!

What salt body of water would this boat have been used in?
I'm doing a bit of reading now in regards to salt water boats... seems if the guy flushed it well after EVERY use, along with the trailer, the boat should be fine.
Scary thing is, I'm in Chicago, he's in New York... that's a long drive for nothing.

salt gets EVERYWHERE and ages a boat rather quickly compared to fresh water. It creeps into wiring and gauges and cables and well, everything.
As for a 26 with a 6.2????? one word....dog. Maybe run 50 mph light.

The guy with the 28' Silencer in Kalkaske MI decided to not sell his boat.
There's still the other one, going to see what the seller will be able to lower it down to...

I'm not sure but that boat I believe may have been in salt water... if its the same one I thought about looking at back when I bought my boat... there is a 280 with a 500EFI in white lake but it is more $. Also a really clean 280 down at Shogren for 39k I believe. I'll keep my eye out for deals
