$300 dash upgrade
Well, I had a few bucks laying around and decided to put a little work into my very dated interior....
Paid $100 to another OSO member for his factory 1997 guages...
$75 on Craigslist for a Momo Commando steering wheel
$75 for vinyl graphics for the dash and glovebox
$50 to have the vinyl professionally applied and cut
I did the installation myself...
This is what I started out with..
Working on it....
And what I have now....
I still need to pull the Dino hub off (my steering wheel puller didnt have the right size bolts in it!) and install the Momo hub and wheel but the last pic shows you what it will look like...Im also going to remove the VHF radio and replace the other 3 switch covers which are really worn out.
Im pretty happy for such a small investment.

Looks great.......what i would do next is the switch panel and new switches.......But first i would pull that dash apart and paint all of that dark gray white or silver, you could clear it or use a matt clear on it ......That would change the whole look of that boat....

You wouldnt have to pull the windshield either.......If you can do it yourself it wouldnt be that expensive for materials........

you dont even have to replace the whole switch. you can do just the rocker covers. they are carling switches. super easy to replace and since they are not labeled on the cover, they are easy to find replacments. great lakes skipper has them. Lookin good!
