Default 1999 280 nav light? ????

K so i have the 99 280,silencer. An my front nav light only works when it wants to. Anyone els having this problem? All other lights work great. Any advice.

take the light bulb out and clean the corrosion and apply a little dielectric grease on the contact points.

Is there a connection eith in the nose cone of the boat.

If you remove the panel in the forward v-berth you can get to the wiring. I believe it is just crimped in.

I doubt you have a connection problem to the light. it is probably the contacts in the housing itself most likely the contacts that touch the bulb.

It was in the contact clip its self. Chep fix just cost alittle to find do to my impatints
