That's my thought as well. By the time it's said and done it would be a very expensive marriage.

Yup. Think about it. You are trying to get around 100k for yours. This boat we speak of is pieced together with a bunch of **** laying around for nearly 8 years, give or take. There is no way in hell you could buy that bought and then buy the power for under 100. And it is still an old boat not even assembled by the fellas from PQ.

Good luck to the group assembling and the buyer.

I have my doubts as well. It will be very interesting to see what the 22 brings at the auction.

Maybe this was said earlier, I didn't read all the post but the same guy bought the partly completed 22 and I think 2 38 hulls and decks. I talked to him the other day, he lives by me. He bought them from the bank not at the auction. Put the 22 together and is taking the two 38s to an auction in Grand Rapids Mi and going to run them through the way they are.

interesting...
I was wondering how the 22 could be a 2012 boat too, and with 70 hours on the motor too

He bought it unfinished so I'm assuming a used motor. Not sure what he did to be able to call it a 2012.

So who is "he"?
Just curious as to whether it was done in a backyard, a decent shop, or a well known rigger with a super reputation that would drive me to bid even higher
I think that 22 would be a nice fit for the lil' lake I live on...

The 22' is already close to $18k with auction still running until tonight. Already seems high but be curious to see what it ends up at.

My understanding is a local guy picked this up to flip. Looking at the pics it looks like its at a place that does more metal fab than boat building but who knows.

One of a kind...(for what that is worth...?)
I think it is pretty cool. I live on a small lake so it does look like it would be fun at home.
Not sure what to think of it being called a 2012, but guessing that the 6.2 would be a pretty good match for that boat.
Says composite build and vac. bagged.
Of course it looks like it could be better with some more details like thru hull, choice, tabs...etc.
AND a trailer

Looks like it closed at $24k. Not for me but i guess someone wanted it pretty bad.

The 6.2 would be "ok". I did a 454mpi to 502mpi swap last summer and the owners love it. Largest power the factory put in one was the 454mpi so it was a nice upgrade.
