Default Type of Steering System

Can someone please let me know what type steering system I have on my 29 foot 1999 Powerquest Enticer FX. There is about a 4 inch side to side play in the steering wheel and I am trying to find out what could be causing it and if there is a way to adjust the play in the wheel.
Thanks

Your gimbal and swivel pin is most likely worn out.

The play is in the steering wheel up front. When it moves left to right I have about a totla of 4 inches of play before I actually see any pressure applied to the cable connection at the motor. Would that still mean my gimbal and swivel pin is worn out?

My dealer had to replace the steering box and cable. Now there is no play. Glad I had it done.

Ended up having the steering box replaced by the dealer. That took care of the play. The problem now is that the steering effort has increased quite a bit. That still needs to be sorted out.
