Thanks Dennis - thankfully the gps recall works. I was going to take the picture under way, but it was a little rough and thought I should be watching where I was going instead of looking through a camera lense. I'm looking for 3-5 more with a little different setup.

Super! What kind of drives are you running? Ratio's? Props? I am still struggling with my set up.

Ray, 1.50:1 Bravo XZ's hitting 5600 rev limiters pretty easy with labbed 32" Bravo I's with 1/2 tank of fuel and 4 adults. I definately believe I'll get another 3-5 MPH out of it.

SORRY COULDN'T RESIST !!!!!!! Great looking setup.

How weight sensitive is the 380 as to the # of people on board?

Jeff, yes it is.

Dennis, it ran the same with me alone in it as it did with myself and three other adults. I don't really see it being real weight sensitive at this point, however, if it picks up more speed when it drops to a 1/4 tank or less, we'll know. No problem with the comments, I enjoy them.

rpm:

I am also looking for more speed for my 02 380. current setup is Whipplecharged HP 500 EFI's, XR w/ITS, Hydromotive 5 blade,s 31-pitch.

Boat always runs 94 GPS.

Thinking of Sportmaster 2" shorter drives, and lab finishing the props.

I was told by Jack at Powerquest that the Sportmaster drives slowed there Flordia display 380 2-mph.

Any comments on Drives?

Congrats on your setup! I have tried lots of different drive heights without any real success. My best results have come from bottom work and props. I haven't tried any of the 5 blade hyrdomotive props yet, but will in spring. I spent most of the day yesterday prop testing this boat and ended up going back to my original setup. 34 Bravo I's turned 5250, but didn't go any faster and took longer to get there. I tried a couple of sets of those labbed and unlabbed along with other sets of 32's, 30's and 4 blade hyros. I'm going to tweak the set of 32's that run the best and see what happens. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't find more, but overall pretty happy. All you can do is try, but at the speed your already running you can spend lots of cash with no return. Unless you can find someone that will let you try different drive setups, I'd lab your props and be happy. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
