Question Bimini in engine compartment?

I have seen a few picture from a few of you guys with your bimini in the engine compartment. My engine compartment has the staps installed but I can not figure out how to make it fit. Is there a trick to it or does it not fit?

I had troubles with mine untill I figured it out. While folding it up make sure all 3 bars that hold up roof line up close to each other when closed, you may have to adjust the set screws. I found mine had slipped. Once lined back up the cover fit much better and the straps fit around the bundle and the pins lined up with the bolts in the front of the engine compartment. Good luck!!

Thanks, I hope that it is as easy as that. I tried a bunch of different ways and could not get it to fit. If I can't get it to fit I may just do 80 with it up and when it rips off tell my wife that it doesn't work

I bought a sunbrella that fits under the back seat. Alot faster and easier to put up and down than a bimini. When it rained cockpit cover went on.

Thanks Kentz, that's how I have been trying to get it to fit but the bimini frame seems too big to fit in the engine compartment. I will try again, there must be a certain angle to get it in there.
