Re: BAJA 272 vs. PQ 280
The only problem I had with buying my PowerQuest was the season. We took it out 1 time and then had to put it away for the winter. New boat, new boat payment, no boat driving for about 5 months.........
Come on spring!!

Slider, congrats on your decision. It is surprising you got the same recommendations from the Baja forum. We had a rather lively debate ongoing between these two forums last winter I believe. It was fun!

Re: BAJA 272 vs. PQ 280
I just finished reading the comments made by the Baja forum. That was pretty suprising. I own a Formula but if it sold today I would be looking at a 38 Avenger pretty hard. Good luck slider, I know the feeling about the whole waiting to boat thing. At least 6 months to go. Winter Sucks!!

Good decision, but you could have gotten some extra silicone if you would have chosen the baja

I'm out of Harrisburg, PA. I have a 26 SLS. I use to work at a boat shop that sold PowerQuest's so I got a chance to test drive all of there modles. The 28 is a great boat for the money. It runs well in the rough and handles great.
Sorry for the late reply...I have not been on for a while!....sorry.....Boating season is upon us soon!
