On a 2000 36 baja outlaw, i have a set of 29's mirage plus. right now im spinning labbed 26's(bravo 1's) at 5600.

I am going to run 28's(bravo 1's) but how will the 29's(mirage pluses) do speed wise? Im doing a poker run and want as much top speed as possible.

I do have the lower "x" dimension before baja raised it, so i should be able to plane with the 3 blades. If i was spinning 52-5400 i would be happy.

I'd say 29's are going to be too big.

Bravo's are a tad optomistic ( pitch wise)
compared to others.

I did some experimenting with my 29 o/l
a few years ago, the 28 labbed bravo's turned
about the same rpm's as 25 mirage +'s.

The boat performed better overall with the 4 blades.

The 29 Mirage Plus propellers are weird ducks. It's a long story. If you have them try them. However, take along other propellers because you probably won't spin the 29's more than 4600 rpm. I'm serious.

what about 27p mirage "non pluses"

The 27 Mirages will give you good top end numbers. The mid range cruise will suffer slightly. Depending on the Lab Finish you have on the 26 Bravo 1's, The 27's should get you real close to the 5300 you are looking for.

They may not be the right prop for all around, just looking for a pure speed prop for the poker run. if i can pick up 1-2mph i would be happy. not worried as much about rpm for these props just top end.
