Tom Is the center motor the exact same rpm.I would think with it being deeper that it might be a differance? But being that boat prob rides a little as s heavy compared to the 2005+ new style bottoms it prob has cleaner water for the props.I would take that in consideration on labbing.
Tom I borrowd a set of labed old chewed up,cracked, race props 30 pitch and got some good speed #'s but I could tell that the stock 28s at that time had better ride around mph but not knowing like you there no way to get a base line not knowing what they have been worked to.
I also would say start with some stock 26 then get them ajusted to the rpm you want, I remember you saying that your lake your allways hitting something,You might consider staying with stock in that case.

I would agree, that if you boat in waters that have a high debris count, then you may not be a good candidate for lab finished props.
