Default Prop Help

I'm having a problem finding the right prop for a 1993 27' Formula SR-1. Have a 509ci with about 500hp at prop with a 1.5 GR. Tried a B1 28 4700 rpm at 68 mph, B1 26 4850 rpm at 66 mph, hydro 25 QIV 5900 rpm at 65 mph. I need to be at 5200 - 5300 rpm. Also does my boat need a bow lifting or a stern lifting prop? Which prop would run better a Bravo or Hydromotive?
Thanks for any help.

In your testing you should have seen a 400 RPM difference between the 28P Bravo I and the 26P Bravo I, not 150 RPM. So you should focus on bone stock props for testing, nothing modifed. I think you will find the the Bravo I prop will perform better, unless you have a pretty heavy engine set-up.
