Default Prop Set-up on 30'Motion

What is the best set-up for a 30" motion with 300x's?

Right now it is set up with X-dimesion 1" above hull, running 4 blade 32P merucry props spinning inward. This is the way I bought it and was wondering if there is a better setup for the boat.

Is in normal to have the props spinning inward on a cat? I alwasy thought they would spin outward.

Any help would be great!

Thanks
Don

Some times the 30 motions like the lift the inward rotation gives.

I like 15" diameter propelllers on this set up for over all performance. Slight diameter adjustments can be used for accelleration requirements. Also, depending on the current propeller Lab process and the rpm / speed you are running, the props you have may be adjusted to better the performance.

It depends what your goals are. The 4B props will hook up well in ocean bodies of water. But overhubs may be the way to go for a different set up, potentially top end.

Thanks for the info. I am looking for a good overall prop setup. I would like good midrange and a respectible top end (100mph). Basically looking for a good pokerrun setup. Getting the last 2 to 3 mph is not important.
Currently I am running 4 blade 15" Dia X 32P mercury props with a top speed of 104mph @ 6300 RPM. The X dimension is right at 1" above the bottom of the hull.
Are four blade props easier on the gear case than 3 blade props? Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks
Don

I knew you had 4 blade OB Merc cleavers. 4 blades can be better on the gear case.

Call us and I can discuss the best options for your desires.

I think a set of 4B propellers will better meet your goals. If your not in a bigt hurry, our Overhub Prototypes just cleared customs and I expect so see them within a week. We will have test results from them within the next 2 months, after devleopement and I am always more than happy to share our results with you. We will have the overhubs in 4B and 5B configurations!

Don,
do you want to sell your 15" X 32" props?
Thanks,
Jeff
