First Impressions - BBlades 32P Labbed Maximus
These props are awesome! They arrived last week and yesterday I was able to test them out. Right from the docks, I noticed the difference. As soon as you put the drive in gear, the boat responds almost immediately as opposed to the delay I was used to with the 32P B1's. At idle, the boat cruises .5mph more than the 32P B1's.
The boat gets on plane significantly faster. Normally I would be conversing waiting for the boat to plane before lifting the tabs and trimming the drives. Now, I start conversing and the boat is on plane and I am lagging on the response time.
Overall the boat feels more connected all around. The throttles respond a great deal faster on acceleration and deceleration. The handling of the boat is significantly improved. I don't know if it is my imagination, but the boat seems quieter.
As for speed increases, I saw an easy 3mph gain just about anywhere and at certain points up to 5mph gain at the cruise rpms. The top end gain seems to be around 1.5mph. That would be my only disappointment. I was hoping for more top end, which if I could get the rpm's back to 5350 as opposed to ~5100, I would see the top end I was looking for. At ~5100rpm, I saw 91.6mph. With the B1's, I was getting ~90mph at 5350.

Brett definitely came through. I spoke with Brett earlier and I will be sending them back for a free update to help achieve my higher top end desire.
I must say, Brett's customer service is great!
I won't go anywhere else for my prop needs.

Brett is good. I dont know about turing them up to 5350 unless it snows. You are running 11% slip. That is great for a Fountain. 30's will slow you down. If Brett can get you an extra 100-150 by fine tuning you will get another few mph.

Brett labbed my P5Xs. We'll determine soon if the diffuser rings needs to be cut. Waiting to see if the cool weather enables me to run a few more rpms. I agree, Brett has been great to work with.
