Merc Revolution 4
I thought I'd share an e-mail I sent to Brett at BBlades this morning.
Brett, feel free to comment here rather than replying to my e-mail.
"HI Brett,
We ran a 25p Rev 4 on my 24' Super and on my buddy Anthony's 24' Pantera last night.
It is a great prop for these old school narrow straight deep V hulls right out of the box. The handling is better than a stock Bravo 1 by far and just as good, maybe better than the B1 you modified for me.
The speed from this prop is also vary good. I saw 74.5mph at 5100rpm, holding the throttle just off the rev limiter. Anthony saw 80mph at 5500rpm on his 24' Pantera.
I'm not in the market for another prop right now, but I bet if bent one of these to 26+p, it may just be the prop of choice for my boat.
What do you think?
Boy, I wish Merc made a 27p Rev 4."
