22 eliminator eagle prop help
I am running a bravo 1 26 pitch on my 22 eliminator eagle. I have a 540 with around 550 hp. Last season my best speed was 78 mph with just me in the boat and or if i had 5 people in the boat. That seems a little odd to me. The bow never seamed to get any lift even if i was throwing a major rooster behind the boat. I was thinking of trying a revolution 4 to try and get some bow lift, sound like a good idea? Anyone out there with a smaller boat like mine change from a bravo 1 to something else? How about a mirage plus, will that give me bow lift? Man i know this boat has more speed in it if i am not plowing the water. Any prop advice would be greatly apriciated.

The Plus Gets The Bow Up Higher Than The Mach, Tried A Bravo 28 . That Was To Much Blade. The 27 Was Not Labbed When I Did A Top End Test But I Saw 78.5. I Hope To See 80 Plus In Spring. I AM ONLY REV 5350, CHANGING BOX IN SPRING TO GET 5600 I HAVE CRANE 721 CAM IN IT.

I believe a custom 28P Bravo 1 Labbed to your needs wouls most likely be the best choice (if the stock 26 B1 is operating in the correct rpm range).
We have Rev 4 and Mirage Plus props for testing if you wish to try them.

Would you add cup to the bravo 1 blades to get bow lift? The one i am running now gives the boat little to no lift in the bow. It was labbed by bronson hill. the 26 b1 was labbed and bent to a 25 1/2 to get the rpm to 5250. How much for a modified bravo1 compared to a rev 4? I hear you (bblades) are the best to get advice on for props so i realy apreciate your help and advice.

Yes, we would add cup. We would also do a slight bend to the blades to achieve the bow lift we need. The trick is using the correct amount in the correct location and doing it the same on all 4 blades. We will need to varify some performance numbers from the current propeller and its characteristics before getting started. Is the 5250 rpm number the correct engine desired rpm?

with the cam we used in the 540, 5250 is probably best. I will definatly do something with you when it gets closer to spring. Water is all froze up. Dang, i need to move somewere warmer! Thanks bblades.
