P5 vs Bravo

I run labbed P5 30s on my Spectre 36 with 550HP (5500RPM). I want to run an additional 400 RPMs. Would labbed Bravo 32s help?
I have a set of labbed P5 31s to sell or trade.

Thanks
Shawn

Im no expert, but if you are running 5500 with P5's you will need more than a labbed 32. What is your speed with the P5's at 5500. Brett, Julie, or Matt will need to know that to calculate your slip. Then they can recomend a prop for you. Fells Point, did you run Rock The Bay poker run last fall?

They most likely won't give you the top rpm you need. However, they will work well on the boat as far as attitude and speed. We did mucho testing and prop development on the Spectre cat line.

We do have test props if you want to get a stock propeller base line that will give great directions in creating the perfect Labbed 4 blade for your set up.

I tried the Bravo 4 blades before and had a terrible time getting on plane. My 36 was matched to Zipp Express, the transom glassed over and the drives moved up 1.75" and in bound but I do not know how much. I kept blowing out the Bravos.
Subsequently, I had the motors repaired and the power band moved up so I have a LOT less torque on the low end, but the motors make power higher up the RPM band. This is why I am thinking about trying the four blades again.

The best I have seen is 110 with the new motors at 5500 - 5600.

I really do like the P5s, I think they carry the boat flatter than the Bravos, which seem to carry the boat a little bow high compared to the P5s.
Should I look for P5 29s?
What prop do you reccomend to see 6000 RPM with 550 HP
motors.

Will a 4 blade 30" prop carry the boat as far/fast as a five blade 30" prop?

Thanks, I have a lot of questions here and appreciate your expertise.

Check with MV35 on here, he has a set for sale, I believe test time only on them, and real cheap. If you can't get to him let me know, he's a friend and I'll call him.

Thanks, I spoke with Monte and he is sold out of props.

B1's on Jays boats have always been the fastest. However, planing has been a issue due to the higher drive heights. Rotation is key. 5 blades are often the best bandaid if you are up to high.

I have a pair of labbed P5 31s in perfect condition. Anyone want to trade for a pair of P5 29s in like condition? XR hubs.
