prop question

so first off i want to thank everyone on OSO for all your help with my project. So i finally got my boat running and it runs good but now i need some help. Ok so i have a 30' conquest enforcer with a 502 mark 5(fresh rebuild) and i just put the sidemount whipple on. Edelbrock aluminum heads and roller cam. Bravo XR with a 2 inch lower. Just had her water tuned and runs well. I have a question about props? Im running a stock bravo1 28p. Full throttle and trimed up im running approx 5000 to 5100 rpm with 5 passengers and full gas. It pulls real hard from 4000 to 5000. My question is what RPM range should i be in with my motor setup? And could I step up to a 30p or should i lab finish my 28p. Also I want a prop to help with bow lift, any suggestion? dont know if bravo1 is bow lifting prop or not. Im proping for speed cause i dont pull any skiers. Thanks again

110 MPH 32' VICTORY ADVANTAGE
IF YOU GO WITH 1 SIZE SMALLER IT SHOULD MAKE THE BOAT GO FASTER AND RASE YOUR RPM'S

Other way around, smaller # = higher RPM

what about a 3 blade? its a heavy deep-v with conservative x-demension but i put the 2" lower so its better now. Ive read on BBlades website that a 3 blade might work for mine well, just wondering?

a 3 blade may not give you enough bow lift.... Others on here know a LOT about this... someone else will chime in with more tech info.

272 baja/99 mph so far/1000 plus hp
I have never been able to get a 3 blade to work on my 27 ft baja with a blower (slipped like there was no tomorrow and broke loose at high speed). As far as propping taller,as you prop taller your rpm's will drop,as your rpm's drop your motor will make less boost. As it makes less boost it will rpm's less,it's a viscious cycle. A labbed 30 will rpm close to what a std 28 will but if your only turning 4900 then it's too tall and like others said you will have to lab your 28 or go even lower. Try some props before buying any, this will also give you more info to help decide what will work best-ex: it turns 4900 w/28,turns 4500 with 30 then you know a tweaked 26 is the way to go,Smitty
