23v Tunnel Kenner Setup
The boat has a 2005 225 optimax and a hyd. jackplate.
What would be a good prop on this boat I have never messed around with a pocket tunnel boat like this before.
I know that you can't get it to bounce at full throttle with trim it just starts to slip if you trim it up.
WOT it hits the governor at around 45 miles an hour feels like it would have more with the right prop.
Thanks
John

There are options depending on the desired outcome. I think you would like the Tempest Plus family. We do have these for testing.

Brett,
That sounds great I will be in touch after I run a 21p Mirage to get an idea of RPM.
The prop on the boat right now is a Power Tech CFS4 of unknown pitch and the boat red lines at around 45 mph loaded heavy or light.
The hole shot will embarrass a lot of boats though it's brutal and the boat equipped with a shallow blaster will plane at any trim setting with the motor down on the hyd. jack plate.
With the motor all the way up and trimmed under the boat will ventilate for a second and then it grabs and up you go in about half a boat length, I believe this is what the previous owner propped the boat to do. I however don't need the boat to do that and I would rather have more top end with a small sacrifice in hole shot.
It would be great to get about 50 mph out of the boat with a cruise around 35 mph .
Thanks
John

I tried to 21 Mirage = 5250 rpm at about 48 mph \ slow hole shot
Manufacturer tells me that a 14 5\8 x 19 Rev 4 is the way to go. I will keep experimenting. It seems like with the transom lifting prop that I pick up about 1 mph by having passengers move to the back of the boat. That makes me feel like a bow lifter might help.
