Also give your engines a chance to break in a little- my 38ZR w 525's is a noticable difference now that I hav 50 hrs vs the 24 hrs when I got it. I have heard from several sources including Craig Barrie at Donzi that they put out close to 60 hp more when they get some hours on them- I have picked up almost 200 rpm now....

That's a great point and one I had thought about but dismissed.
I can't understand how a quality manufacturer like Formula put props on the boat that were so far off. 500 rpms is allot to be off on in this situation. Perhaps they will turn the the rpms they should after a full break in.

Relax, if the are sticking most likely it will fix itself.What happens is carbon oil and moisture can build up and cause the rings to stick in the groves so you would lose a little power.Also those engines are not broke in yet so whatch the speed runs.Formula is a great boat but the are not the fastest so don't go crazy trying to get every mph out of it.
