Default '03 Donzi 22C Turbo 1 Propeller Size?

Hello,

I have an 03 Donzi 22c with the 496HO/Bravo setup. Porpoising has been a bit of an issue with the current Mirage Pluse 25p propeller. I've read that the turbo 1 prop is a better application for the 22C. Just looking for some pointers as to what pitch size and diameter of the turbo 1 I should get for the boat. If it matters, operating altitude is just over 1850 feet. I appreciate your advice.

We can supply you with the Turbo 1 for testing or we also offer a modification to the M+ that works very well on your hull.
Call us if you wish to discuss these options.

Interesting...I have run several different props on my '88 454 BBC 500 HP 22C and so far a Mirage Plus 25 is the best...no porpoising, minimal cavitation on acceleration, totally stable at 70 - 75 mph, RPM running at about 5,200... Range of props tried have been from a 23P cleaver to a 27P Mirage....

Default Donzi 22 porpoise

I also have a 2004 22 C Donzi that porpoises with Mirage 25 P but totally settles with Hydromotive Q IV 23.And this is with 6.2 Bravo. My problem is that some idiot set the drive in the boat with the a/v plate only 1/2" above the keel. This X dim makes all the diff re speed and porpoising.BTW the boat does only 58 at 4600 and it is in mint condition.
